Public bug reported:

Hi,

I had ubuntu 22.04, which was upgraded from 21.10 following the link:
https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-upgrade-ubuntu-to-22-04-lts-jammy-
jellyfish. It has worked well for me until I run "apt update and apt
upgrade" around Mar 18. I have wallpaper slideshow setup using shotwell
before the upgrade. I noticed my desktop background went to black after
the upgrade. I then logged out and logged in. The background was changed
to an Ubuntu default. I tried to set desktop slideshow again using
shotwell but it never worked any more. From the GUI, I did not see
anything abnormal. But the desktop background simply did not change at
all.

I guess something was broken by one of the upgraded packages.
