This bug was fixed in the package volume-key - 0.3.12-5 --------------- volume-key (0.3.12-5) unstable; urgency=medium
* Use dh-sequence-python3 Build-Depends to enable the python3 addon * Avoid test suite failure due to overlong socket path. In compat 13, dh will reset HOME to a writable location managed by debhelper. The resulting socket path can exceed the 108 char limit of sockaddr_un.path, resulting in a test suite failure. Thus call "make check" directly to avoid HOME being overridden. -- Michael Biebl <bi...@debian.org> Thu, 08 Sep 2022 01:54:16 +0200 ** Changed in: volume-key (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to volume-key in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1989029 Title: volume-key build test failure Status in volume-key package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: I'm just filing this bug for tracking. The debhelper compat bump to 13 ended up causing volume-key's build tests to fail because the path is too long for gpgme. The Debian maintainer for volume-key is working on figuring out an appropriate workaround for this issue.
