Now I have tested too. :/ Switching language does not result in an
attempt to reset region, and seems to work as expected. I can no longer
reproduce any errors or warnings when starting g-c-c from terminal.

Uploaded g-c-c, but keeping the accountsservice task open for now until
we see that the problem is no longer present.
