Im an idiot!
I have 2 1920x1080 monitors and was downloading wallpaper of 3840x2160, but
realized i didnt have to double the vertical resolution. After downloading the
closes resolution to 3840x1080 then wallpaper spans appropriately.

Have noticed that using Advanced Settings (gnome-tweak-tool) to set

desktop background to Compiz, so if you have a background set in
CompizConfig Settings Manager's
