  black screen (no video signal) after logout

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-ati” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:

  When I log out, I get a black screen. The monitor says "no signal".
  No reaction on any keyboard combination. Only solution: reset the PC.

  No problems occur when selecting restart/shutdown.
