  Change in resolution failed.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xorg

   Problem in graphics (look and feel) after reboot.
  I was ding laptop testing. after resolution changed my display gone 
down(blank).
  I was only able to see pointer.
  After restart i think metacity crashed. My ubuntu was looking weired.
  also my terminal's transparency is lost.
  Everything is looking without theme.
