for completeness: One of the two Debian patches replaces
the theory of SAO-versus-TAO.
It turned out that the function, which transmits the
libisofs image data to the burn software, dropped every
second data block. (Actually the first block of each pair
of blocks.)
I think we should limit this bug to the 50% thing. The more frequent SAO
vs TAO should be a different bug.

I think the only way is to save the log, when Brasero asks you to after
a burn process. You can also look into `/tmp/` for the log.

in upstream, it is very important for many people and the unexperienced

not even anymore possible to change (nor see) the on-the-fly

After the burn Brasero complained he could not eject DVD (???), I ejected it
manually and it was crap.
What it the current state of Brasero in 12.04?
In the Burning dialog there are no options (???), has been the on-the-fly
burning
As much as I respect the time and effort put in Ubuntu by everyone, how
come 12.04 could get out the door with such a bug?
Tried today to burn a data DVD-R (on 12.04) and got the same result as
Davide above (twice as I tried again). To make things worse it was in
front of a friend I was trying to
I haven't found the root cause yet and I think the best approach would
be to simply disable the libburn related plugins by default. I hope to
have a work-around that will end up in the repository by the end of next
week.
