Matching subscriptions: dp-unity https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/782565 Title: Firefox, Eclipse and Texmaker don't get focus if one switches to their workspace Status in Unity: Invalid Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: I found several issues with workspace switching: - if I switch to a workspace where Eclipse or Texmaker reside, I often (to be precise, more often than not) cannot type in any keys. - if I switch to a workspace where Firefox resides, I sometimes (!) get the problem of unusable drop-down menues: if I click on a field triggering such a menu, the menu shows up and then disappears if I try to move the mouse over the list. Additionally the suggestions in the awesome-bar won't be displayed (i.e. the dropdown menu doesn't show up) and typing into the bar is slow - sometimes some keys won't be even recognized and aren't displayed It seems, that this happens if one of the aforementioned applications resided on the workspace I left to switch to the other one. Maybe they don't properly loose focus. All of these proplems can be fixed by minimizing the window to the launcher and then maximizing it again, which obviously destroys every workflow... The system is Ubuntu 11.04 32bit.
