This occurred after a reboot following the latest update: Oct 5, 2011 @ ~10:15

I did have to reboot twice. The first reboot left my touch pad / mouse and
keyboard unresponsive and I had to use my power button to shut down and
Every time wen i boot my laptop( Dell Inspiron 14r N4010). Unity seems
to be the problem.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. This particular bug has already been reported and is a

Comment from duplicate bug #865358: Ooh, wow. It's failing to connect to
X. Could you please try the packages in
https://edge.launchpad.net/~raof/+archive/aubergine which should (a) not
crash in this circumstance, and (b) print a little debugging information
to .xsession-errors.

This is the 2nd time no icons (e.g., time and date) shown on the top
panel. I didn't do anything special when the error occurred, I think.
Ubuntu may want to give a stronger warning when users want to upgrade to
such an very unstable beta release (I have almost reported 10+ bugs
after upgrading).
Ignore about the sbin crash, never seen before, hasn't occurred again
For me this crash is related to this - Bug 863054 to note - this crash
that bug never occur if gdm is used instead of lightdm

After a partial upgrade (I think about 120+ software updated), rebooting
and login, this error occurred. After this upgrade, I also cannot see
any icons (eg, time) at top-right corner, don't know if it's a new
setting or bug.
My system:
$ lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu oneiric
After another partial upgrade (~76 softwares updated), top-right icons
came back! And after reboot, this error didn't appear!
