Title:
Missing access to sound cards?
Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Pulseaudio doesn't find any sound cards, resulting with no sound.
After killing the daemon by killall pulseaudio -9 and restarting it as
root by puslseaudio --system, everything starts working fine.
On SOME sessions it does start, on some it doesn't. It's very hard to
reproduce this. I am using Sound Blaster Live card.
