Public bug reported:

OS: Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric stable
Application: Nautilus 3.2.0

The "Create New Document" option in the context menu in Nautilus (and
therefore on the Desktop) only offers the misleading "Empty Document"
which creates a text file in gedit (thereby being useless to people
expecting the ability to create LibreOffice documents), and otherwise
states "No templates installed". The option to create other files should
exist by default, else this menu entry should be scrapped.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
