It started to happend since last upgrade in Ubuntu 12.04 x64. I was using 12.04 since release and since a few days this weird behaviour started. When sreen goes blank after idle time, i move mouse or press any key and nothing happens. I have to change to a tty (ctrl+alt+f1) and then go back to X
