Has this ever worked? The broadcom driver needs to blacklist drivers in
the intramfs (thus requiring a reboot) so that the open driver is not
loaded on some systems.
What does the following command says after you install the driver with
Jockey?
dkms status

I've tested this and got it working on almost every release since 2009. I
don't now recall if I got it working for raring or not. Jockey is having
other issues in saucy (See bug #1239298), so I'm not sure if it works there or
not.
