Hi odyx, it isn't clear to me, how can I test foo2zjs. Can you explain?
1. I installed this package:

2. Reinstall the printer.
But nothing changed. Bug is present.

You need to install the printer-driver-foo2zjs package, but you might want to
rebuild it
Thanks OdyX! I installed this (1) package [I don't know how to rebuild] and
added printer with this PPD (2) and it works for me :). The colors are good!

All I had to do was remove printer-driver-foo2zjs and compile this new version
to work with Dell 1355cnw

I've removed all cups packages from 12.04 and reinstalled using 11.10 so
I have 1.5.0-8 installed, but I'm still getting this problem. Does

Removing the Incomplete status as for now no additional files are
needed.
I have asked for help on the OpenICC (Color Management) mailing list,
probably this is a bad interference of the color management in the input
file, the CUPS filters, and the printer.
** Changed in: cups (Ubuntu)
The following link suggests it is a vendor driver issue:

Thanks for the link Kai-Uwe, although I'm not sure what suggests it is a vendor
driver issue from there (but I'm far from an expert).
That link does confirm the colour issues in this bug on the affected OS.
Comment #10 here shows the testing by Gyuris that with the same official
driver the
ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64 bit (Cups 1.5.3) has the same error.
Xerox said: with cups 1.5.0 all is ok, so the driver are ok, cups must
solve the problem.

I did some test. The printer works well with official Xerox driver:
- Ubuntu 10.04 (i386) - CUPS 1.4.3
- Ubuntu 11.04 (i386) - CUPS 1.4.6
- Ubuntu 11.10 (i386) - CUPS 1.5.0
The color bug is present:
- Ubuntu 12.04 (i386) - CUPS 1.5.3
- Ubuntu 12.10b1 (i386) - CUPS 1.6.1
I couldn't test amd64
