I went back and tested lunar on the same machine and there is no bug
there even though lunar has 44.2 now. Makes me think this might be a

I'm running Kubuntu 23.04.
I've installed few fonts from the Settings (Font Manager) and noticed that
Libreoffice (snap) can see the system-wide installed fonts, but it doesn't
detect the user fonts.
I think it should be able to see and works also with the fonts
