+1 from the Documentation Team. We won't need to change docs for this.
The theme you're using is a little confusing (because it's different
than what my computer looks like), but adding the Legal notice to the
bottom is fine. I agree with Laney that I like it better than on the
top.

Could you please try again now that gdm 3.6.0 and gnome-shell 3.6.0 are
available in Ubuntu 12.10 Beta?
