I just downloaded a fresh 12.04.1 cd and installed it on a fresh, new
system.
Odly enough the password didn't work to login the first time. But,
afraid I misspelled the password (twice?, odd..) I tried a few different
combinations of keys which are right next to the initial password.
Trying over
I don't use Firefox as my standard browser, so I didn't notice it myself. When
other people use my computer, they have to use firefox, as I don't want them to
use 'my' browser (chromium). It only seems to happen when Firefox is in use and
I've seen it happening. It's quite annoying. Screen
I'd like to add that Epson Perfection V500 works perfectly after
installing all official Epson Linux drivers and follow the instructions
at number 25: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sane-
backends/+bug/1728012/comments/25
But I don't think non-savvy Ubuntu users can figure this out on
