I'm having this iproblem too now, but just since a few days ago. The
only thing that could have changed is I did some package updates. Here
are the latest ones:
Start-Date: 2012-09-09 04:48:21
Commandline: aptdaemon role='role-commit-packages' sender=':1.126'
Upgrade: ghostscript-cups:amd64
For me using pacmd doesn't work. The workarround that worked for me is
to restart pulseaudio as suggested in comment #13. Then all the
different audio profiles appears in both pacmd and the gnome control
panel as expected.

I can confirm this bug in oneiric (checked gnome-keyring.mo file for
relevant strings), but not in my jhbuild sandbox and I can't find any
l10n related changes on git.gnome.org history about gnome-keyring and

hello all, here is my solution.
i have been struggling for several months with the same problem, my system is a
common ubuntu 11.04 with a default encrypted home and thus an encrypted swap:
luca@idle:~$ uname -a
Linux idle 2.6.38-11-generic #50-Ubuntu SMP Mon Sep 12 21:18:14 UTC 2011 i686
i686
sorry, sergei, not andrei
also sorry, the first command contains a missing char, the correct is:
luca@idle:~$ sudo mkdir /home/unencrypted
cheers
luca

Controls related to action to perform when lid is closed (see bug

Probably a check for lid-is-present property from upower is missing.
