There seem to be a slight improvement, but most people I talk to still

That would be nice. Problem persists despite flashing my Nexus 4 to
newest android (4.4.4) and then flashing to Ubuntu RTM channel.

I guess that Android applies some kind of filter to prevent the
distortion somehow picked up by the mic. Sound gets worse if I speak in
a louder voice and the output at the other end is apparantly very loud
also. As Nexus 4 is still the main phone used for Ubuntu Touch, I
believe the platform would
After looking into the apns-conf.xml on the device, I previously noted
that settings for Tele2 Sweden did not quite match the APN settings for
Nexus 4 recommended by the carrier. Strangely enough, sending MMS still
works. See settings comparison below, the most notable differences being
MNC and APN

I can't get this to work, only the error "Read-only file system".

OK, I feel like a real "hacker". Managed to install the network-test-sessions
after a while modyfying some of your suggested commands. Pls see attached file
after sending MMS and trying to receive an MMS. Sending goes through, but
nothing happens when receiving.

One more try, this time after copying a customized apns-conf.xml to
/custom/etc/apns-conf.xml (don't know if this makes any difference, but I read
here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ofono/+bug/1315509 that this is
what to do to change the settings). I have sent one MMS to mys
You are not the only one. I have no idea what was actually fixed and
released regarding this bug, because nothing has changed for me. My Pro

reconnect properly once a signal is lost. I probably toggle airplane

I experience this frequently on the Pro 5 as well. Sometimes when I pull
down indicator for mobile it shows 3G or 4G, but shows no connection on
the top indicator bar (see attached image).

I have been experiencing weird wifi issues on my Pro 5. It is not
unusual that I it asks me to re-enter my wifi password while in the
house. I have also noticed that sometimes I have to pull the indicator
menu down and tap my home wifi before it reconnects.

I experience this issue quite often with my Pro 5 (rc-proposed). It is
not unusual that I have to pull down the network indicator and actually
tap on my home wifi in order to reconnect. Frequently at other times,
when I wake the phone from suspend (i.e. turn it on), I am being

Confirmed on my Pro 5 with rc-proposed. I can never count on having a
data connection on my Pro 5 (rc-proposed) when I need it. Even if I do
get a mobile data connection, I can never count on it to last for long.
I find myself constantly toggling airplane mode off and on, sometimes it
helps, someti
@Alfonso:
I just tried sending an mms to myself, and that didn't work although it reports
that it sent ok. I also tested sending from one sim card to the other on my Bq
Aquaris 4.5, but that one didn't even send.
I am going to try having someone else send me an sms, to see if it
works.
