Public bug reported:

I have a disk whose SMART status correctly reports as failing. This is
reported in Ubuntu by the Disk Utility - see the attached screenshot.
If I walk away from the computer for a while, when I return there are
many of these message boxes stacked on top of each other. The Examine
button is highlighted by default but there is no scenario where I
need/want more than 1 or possibly 2 Examine Windows open concurrently or
even sequentially, so I must repeatedly click OK with my mouse to
dismiss all of these messages. It would be better if the first message
box inhibited the display of further message boxes until it is
dismissed.

Note: The issue that this an old-style message box rather than using
the new notify-osd notifications is covered in bug #412440. Fixing that
bug might fix this bug also, but in the meantime (or if that bug is
closed as Wont-Fix) it would be beneficial to fix this bug.
