I've always had many problems trying to get my SD cards, from different
brands, to be recognized by Ubuntu. Sometimes they are recognized, and I
can simply click on the icon to mount them, but most of the times they
don't appear. Searching for a solution in the web, I've found many
people who just thought their SD card reader is not supported under
Ubuntu.

But this week, I tried digging deeper, and found that a device actually
shows in journalctl as /dev/mmcblk0, with partitions such as
/dev/mmcblk0p1, and after reading many documents, I simply got rid of
this problem with the following /etc/udev/rules.d/personal.rules:

KERNEL=="mmcblk*p*", ENV{UDISKS_IGNORE}="0"

For some reason, udisks thinks sometimes it should ignore SD cards by
default...
