GNOME Software showing duplicate installed apps

Status in gnome-software package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
In the software store on Ubuntu Gnome 17.04, fully updated, some apps show up
as installed twice without be doing anything command line installs, updates,
etc. This currently effects the Software & Updates app and Chromium app
(installed from the most popular software store options, I'm also confused why
3 show there). I installed re-downloaded images on a second computer to verify
this
issue further. Print screen showing the duplicates attached. Several other
apps showed duplicated on installation (including ImageMagick), but went away
after rebooting.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1687252] Re: GNOME Software showing duplicate installed apps

2017-09-18 Thread Jaffry Jalal
I have a fresh new install of 17.04. Quite a number of applications are
listed twice. (On my system at least, the duplicate listings have a
"Source:www.ubuntu.com" in tiny text below the description.)
