[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1713564] Re: Repeated problem on login with damaged problem report.
[Expired for xorg (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60 days.] ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Expired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1713564 Title: Repeated problem on login with damaged problem report. Status in xorg package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: Sometimes every time I log in to Xubuntu 16.04, sometimes every other time, the first thing I get are 2 dialogs saying there has been a problem and 2 requests for permission to submit a problem report. I always give permission, and after I do, everything seems to work fine. Every time I've ever looked at the details, I find something that says the problem report is damaged and cannot be processed, and refers to an invalid core dump with a warning referencing /tmp/apport_core. This has been going on for over a year, but doesn't seem to be a common problem, since I find only 2 similar bug references. Bugs #1424864 and #1507461 appear to be giving a similar but not identical error message, and the symptoms of neither match mine.
