I found this bug because I was searching for the message: gnome-shell[PID]: Unable to connect to ibus: Could not connect: Connection refused in my journalctl output from a relatively new Ubuntu 21.10 install. No apparent problems, but I was looking to see if I should be concerned? Summary:

@Daniel ibus: It provides full featured and user friendly input method user interface. i cant tell it breaks something, but probably does not provide internal outputs needed by the system. Otherwise tell me why ubuntu has decided to add ibus packages to the required package list ? Actually
