It would seem like a good time to remove it since we are bumping the
major version in master anyways, especially if someone could compile

I have a Déjà vu that I had already asked this...
Any time I make a change to the native library on artemis, I have to
remove the dust of a very old laptop just to compile the 32 bits
library. I know I know, I could install an image

In Aries there is a contributor role that can be given to non
