I merged the compressed large message one... but I'm a bit concerned with one change on the bridge. I would defer the bridge to next version.. but we don't need to wait that long again for next release.. it could be a very short window. [HEADS-UP] ActiveMQ Artemis release
I have been postponing for a while, where I had previously said I would release... (because of a few small issues I was dealing with). I think we are in a good position and I would like to do a release today afternoon. I don't want to delay it until tomorrow as I am going to have a week of vacation next week and if I don't do this today I will lose my window of opportunity. (Unless someone would like me to delay it: On that case be warned that you would be volunteering yourself to replace me as the release manager :) ) -- Clebert Suconic

I have the payload for 2.6.1 pretty much defined here: https://github.com/apache/activemq-artemis/compare/2.6.0...2.6.x I just want to include the work I'm doing now on some Bridge working and AMQP, which will be cherry-picked into 2.6.x: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARTEMIS-1858 Please let me know if anyone has anything else to include into 2.6.1.. .My plan is to do it as soon as I finish ARTEMIS-1858. I expect to be done by tuesday end of the day.. but estimate tasks completion is not an exact science..So Wed the latest. If anyone has anything to add into 2.6.1 please let me know here. Just created 2.6.x However.. if I need to pick everything from master.. .I will just do the following: git checkout 2.6.x git pulll --rebase apache master And in case I find things that are not supposed to be on 2.6.1.. i will use cherry-picking.
