I agree with this, and further tested your hypothesis on a Neo4j Docker
instance with a (linked below) Python script. I ran multiple tests, up to
10,000 iterations, and it was always right directed.

I made a Jira ticket to allow this topic to be a configuration option:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AGE2-656. I propose for the 0.8.0
release the option is to make a right directed edge, as Neo4J does.
Please give your thoughts.
