Sonatype says that the old URL is canonical [1]. On the other hand, Maven documentation [2] insists that the new URL is canonical. So, which answer is authoritative? Seems like the problem was temporary... Still, there are a couple of questions to be answered: which url is canonical now? Why are tests depending on values that are hardcoded separately?
