Summary: Improve user error message text when search queries
abruptly fail

When user performs an action that causes a search to fail unexpectedly and
sometimes repeatedly in a short interval, the error message currently received
("Invalid Expression") does not make it clear as to what went wrong.
There should be an error message fix that should make it clear to the user as
to what happened.
