Madhan Neethiraj updated ATLAS-3653: ------------------------------------ Description: A new type named {{Namespace}} was introduced in Atlas via ATLAS-3486. This feature enables named grouping of attributes; and these attributes can be added to instances of specified entity-types. In effect, this feature allows attributes to be added in multiple entity-types, without actually modifying these entity-types. This helps multiple ways, like: - ability to add attributes (like dataQuality, projectName) to multiple entity-types - authorize update to attributes - find entities (of multiple types) based on value of such attributes Since the term {{namespace}} is used in multiple applications in different context, it is better to avoid using this term for above feature; instead I suggest to use {{BusinessMetadata}} - as this feature allows extending entity-types by adding attributes related to business (i.e. not technical metadata). was: A new type named {{Namespace}} was introduced in Atlas via ATLAS-3486.
