Thanks to everyone who participated in vetting our debs! The latest vote
was successful, with the following vote tally:
+1: 3 (binding), 1 (non-binding)
I will follow up with AURORA-1482 and AURORA-1483 using these packages.
Cheers,
Bill
TIL that all of 127/8 is bound to the loopback interface, so while
non-standard, apparently 127.0.1.1 should (and, I just confirmed that it
does) work just fine.
So... sorry for the spam, but changing my vote to +1.

I'm -1 to these debs. I was not able to get aurora up and running in
vagrant using them, which is probably due to issues on my end, but
regardless, in /etc/aurora/clusters.json, the default value for "zk" is set
to "127.01.1" which at the very least should be corrected?

I propose that we accept the following artifacts as the official deb
packaging for
Apache Aurora 0.9.0.
http://people.apache.org/~wfarner/aurora/distributions/0.9.0/deb/ubuntu-trusty/
The Aurora deb packaging includes the following:

To simplify testing these debs, i've got a branch that sets up the
environment and dependencies in Vagrant:
https://github.com/wfarner/aurora-packaging/tree/wfarner/deb_testing/test/deb/ubuntu-trusty
If you clone that, you can then vagrant up, wget, and dpkg -i.
I plan to formalize this testing
