Closing this vote thread 1. publishToMavenLocal should have picked up the sources, not sure what happened there. will go dig back through the code and see what was missed.
2. not sure if e2e is the right place for this as it would need to pull from a pre-release repo that always changes, though agree that some validation would be good. 3.
