agree that PR #307 supersedes PR #299 and PR #261? I ask because both are
still open.

I don't think there is  currently someone acting as lead for C# / dotnet.
Would one more of y'all be interested in acting in that role?

I'm happy to take a look at the PR, but my time on the project is pretty
limited. To set some expectations, when I have time for Avro stuff my focus
currently is either a) getting our website compliant with ASF guidelines or
b) getting releases going again.
