Hi Brooklyners. You might have noticed that our builds started to fail consistently for the past week, with the following message:
Error: Could not find or load main class org.apache.maven.surefire.booter.ForkedBooter After some research, it seems like the newest JDK 8 includes a security feature that induce this problem[1]. It is tracked over there and should be fixed in a version. In the meantime, this could be mitigated by adding -Djdk.net.URLClassPath.disableClassPathURLCheck=true but needs to be verified first. I'll update the config of one job and see if this works. Will keep you updated. Best.
