so I'm unsure if we should
add such things in 2.19 or maybe delay to 3.0 (where we may have the
chance to do a deeper refactor and suppliers may play better),
What do you think ?

yeah, this isn't just more than a raw dump of some ideas I had in mind
but the service/object entitled to perform the registration to the
cloud registry should have a sort of pluggable
"local-address-resolver"

The future Health API/Service may then also be configured to remove
or invalidate the service if the route is reported as not healthy.
Make sense for you ?

call and it is used first, something like:
registry.lookupByName(String name, Class type) {
Object answer = containerRegistry.lookupByName(name);
if (answer == null) {
answer = contextRegistry,.lookupByName(name);
}
return answer;
}

On Fri, Feb 3,
a container specific parser (blueprint,
spring, cdi) for object that are strictly camel-context related.
What do you think ?

9) I'm currently going through the examples and tests trying to
re-implement them using java 8 and see which part of the dsl can
benefit from lambdas & co, I should open a new JIRA soon

Hello everyone,
as components-starter is platform specific (spring-boot), would it
make sense to move it to platforms/spring-boot ?

Luca Burgazzoli
Hello everyone,
would it make sense to open a JIRA to track the deprecated components
and code we want to remove for next camel release (2.19 or 3.0) ? So
people can know in advance what will be removed and we can easily list
them in the change-log ?
