There is another api to revert a vm snapshot
https://cloudstack.apache.org/api/apidocs-4.11/apis/revertToVMSnapshot.html
for now, reverting a volume snapshot is only supported on KVM/QCOW2 and
managed storage

I think it work on XenServer too the revert if a VM snapshot, at least, it
used to work. but I'm not sure if this API is for revert disk snapshot or
vm snapshot.

Maybe it’s a stupid question, but from the CloudStack API docs, the API
‘revertSnapshot’ is ONLY supported with KVM, but not others, e.g. XenServer or
VMware .
Is there any special reason for this ? Shall we expect this feature included
in coming release ACS ?
