Paul, the apache jobs get cleaned up quite fast, so the 404 is probably
just the job output that isn't found. Look at
https://builds.apache.org/job/cloudstack-pr-analysis/ to see if there are
jobs with more output. The definitions is such that at most 5 jobs are kept
for at most 14 days.
On Sun,
Hey Guys,
A few recent PRs are showing Jenkins errors, but if I go to look why I get a
server error:
https://builds.apache.org/job/cloudstack-pr-analysis/7633/ ->
HTTP Status 404 - Not Found
is there anything we can do or should I notify Infra?

Hi Pierre-Luc,
I've no objections.
Besides the jobs for 4.3 and 4.4 I think there is need for some more cleanup on
jenkins.buildacloud.org. We will need to index all current build jobs and reason
or vote if the job is still wanted or necessary. I'm seeing a lot of jobs
failing or not even
4.3 remove is fine with me.

Hi,
We recently ran out of space on jenkins master of j.bac.o [1]. Does anyone
would object if we removed all jobs for 4.3 builds ? I did some build jobs
for 4.6, I'll remove them as it look like we are using master for 4.6
builds for now.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,

Hi Daan,
I tried to dig into the problem, but I have no access to the agents. If you
can give me an account, I'd really like to help!
Best regards,

LS,
for your convenience and use in possible gate implementation I fixed
the parameterized rpm build job and added a parameterized slow build.
I am still testing the latter. don't hesitate to join me in that
effort;)
There is still a number of jobs disfunctional. Please help me fix
them. Though

I don't seem to have enough rights to do this work so two questions for now:
@Rohit
I would say don't delete any job of 4.3/4.2 or old/obsolete releases,
remove any builds and disable (older) jobs such as 4.3 systemvms etc.
4.3 jobs are not needed now (unless we'll do some kind of release in
future) so I would say we can safely disable them or remove old builds
but please DO
I don't seem to have enough rights to do this work so two questions for now:
@Rohit/Will: how much of the 4.3 jobs are still needed? Last succesful
ones are 20 days old and some (systemvm) seem to have never worked.
@Edison: can you have a look at fastbuildserver and linodebuildserver?

H,
jenkins.bac.o is loaded with disfunctional jobs. I want to do a
cleanup but am not aware of a list of jobs that are actual and needed.
Can I clean at will or/and are there considerations I should make?
thanks,

Thanks for taking this up Daan.
Since no one complained about the failed jobs, i think it should be ok to
atleast clean all of those.
It looks like no one is looking at jenkins except for systemvm template and
rpms.

Hugo mentioned to me that we should have some jenkins jobs to build
those, any takers ? ( I no squat about jenkins)
It's quite easy. Once you are logged in. Go to the view under which
you create a job. Then click New Job, then select copy from
existing job. In your case you can use
/publican.cfg (tons of new goodies in
there libcloud, jclouds-cli, knife-cs, whir etc)
