Okay, so were are we now?

since trunk of FILEUPLOAD has breaking changes, I'm not going to create a

Hello,
a while back, the Apache Commons project decided to grant write access to
all ASF committers [1]. While setting this up for our SVN repositories was
easy, we had some problems to grant the necessary karma to all ASF
committers for our git repositories. This problem has now been fixed [2].

It's okay for me if in the end all (or most of) the test methods actually

Hello Josh,
first of all: Thank you for RMing VFS 2.1! Sorry it took me so long, but
I'm about to go on vacation and you know how that is... :o)
Here are my observations:
- The staging repo contains a lot of stuff which is not needed (bin and src
archives, examples). Not a blocker for me.
- The
CSV, including instructions on
how to submit bug reports, patches, or suggestions for improvement, see the
Apache Commons Validator website:
http://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-csv/
Have fun!
Benedikt Ritter, on behalf of the Apache Commons Community
Hello,
just FYI: the sync of Apache Commons CSV 1.3 to Maven central only took
about an hour. Looks like the problems we have experienced during the last
releases have been fixed. I'm sending out the announcement for Apache
Commons CSV 1.3 now.

Benedikt

For whatever reason, the apidocs directory is missing in the commons-io

Hi,
we have fixed some bugs and added some nice new features since we released
Apache Commons CSV 1.2. So I'd like to release Apache Commons CSV 1.3 based
on RC 1.
Apache Commons CSV 1.3 RC1 is available for review here:
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/commons/csv/csv-1.3-RC1 (revision

I'm giving FileZilla a try. That should do the trick :-)
Thank you!

Hi,
how do you upload a component site to home.apache.org? people.apache.org
hat ssh access. I always uploaded a tar via scp and then logged in via ssh
for unpacking. home.apache.org does not have ssh access. What tools do you
use to upload the component site?

Hello Josh,
It's really great how much effort you're putting into this release. Thank
you for that!

Thank you
A release as soon as possible would be great. However, as Stian has pointed
out there may be a problem with US law [1]. This should be resolved before
the first release. I've created CRYPTO-54 [2] for tracking this.

Hello,
I have the need for a validator implementation that can check German
identity card numbers. It's pretty simple to implement something like this
using ModulusCheckDigit. Now I'm wondering whether this would be a good
addition for [validator]. It is specific to German identity cards, but
I can't manage to push an RC out
this week, I'll do it after my vacation.
