I think that would be nice!
I'm also using the template. It looks greater than when I try to make my
+0 on my side. Seems a good thing, but I may not master all the aspects.

Hello Sharan
I confirm that we can make a presentation of Apache SIS + geospatial
standards if there is still time available. The presentation could be 25
minutes, but I can adjust according available time.
Thanks,
Martin

Hello Georges
Thanks for the notice. There is an habit to have a rush of ApacheCon
submissions in the 72 hours before the Call For Paper deadline, which is
March 30th. This is admittedly stressful for organizers… I risk to
contribute myself to this stress, since I'm hopping to take inspiration
I'm not yet sure about my schedule in December, but if no conflict I
would be interested to participate too.

Hello Isabel
I put the Apache geospatial mailing list in copy because I believe this
community has lot of experience in interactions between Open Source
software and standardization. For example the Apache Spatial Information
System (SIS) project is a lot about implementing standards developed
Hello Sharan
I would have liked to participate especially since going to Paris would
have been easy for me, but unfortunately the timing is difficult for me,
because of rush at work. Hopefully we can try again next year?

Hello all
Following discussions at ApacheCon this week, I propose to add a new
category to the following files:
*
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/infrastructure/site-tools/trunk/projects/xdocs/categories.xml
*
Thanks all for the responses to the proposal.
I just got a suggestion to add two more categories in addition of
"geospatial". The two other categories would be "machine-learning" and
"internet-of-things". Is there any objection regarding those two additions?

There is a small but relatively successful funding happening right now.
The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) is organizing a code sprint
conjointly with ASF and another open-source organization (OSGeo) [1].
For this code sprint, OGC and OSGeo solicited their sponsors, but ASF
could not
