For Slack, I've been using an invite link that "does not expire", however,
the invite link does have a limit of 1,000 people. Therefore it's not
very suitable
for a long time usage or as a permanent link and it will need to be
regenerated
occasionally. This is what makes GitHub Discussions much
+1 to GH Discussions.
Hopefully lowers the barrier for folks to engage.
And given the amount of "bug reports" that are actually support requests it
might be beneficial if we can a) keep the discussion on GitHub b) better
preserve the history for future users
