missing link to installation guide in couchdb home page

Hello, Congrats for the new couchdb home page, looks really nice. One thing that could be enhanced: links to installation guides are definitely missing close to the download button. Newbie would have his source or binary so easily, but would not know how to use them. Hope this helps, m.

Build couchdb 1.2 many times and it always worked. Followed the release instruction but couchdb does not startup. here is the output from the terminal: 644 'www/image/cancel.gif' '/usr/local/share/couchdb/www/image/cancel.gif' /bin/bash

Thanks Bob, After doing this I got 1.2 to launch, of course it closed when my terminal did. Change the ownership of the CouchDB directories by running: chown -R couchdb:couchdb /usr/local/etc/couchdb chown -R couchdb:couchdb /usr/local/var/lib/couchdb chown -R couchdb:couchdb
