Hi everyone,

As we continue to make the transition to Apache, I want to alleviate some
of the confusion around which infrastructure should be used.

I've posted to the Mifos blog a brief overview of where you should go for
source code, which mailing lists should be used, and which issue trackers
should be used.

A few quick takeways:

*Mailing Lists*
If you're not sure where to post, post to one of the Apache user or dev
lists. If it's not the right place, we'll forward it to the proper list.
Anything related to development or technical issues on the Apache Fineract
platform should go to Apache Fineract dev list. Anything about
functionality or design of new features on the platform should go to the
Apache Fineract Users list.

Any technical or development-related questions for the web app or the
mobile apps should stay on the Mifos Developer's list. Questions about
using the Mifos X web app or mobile apps should go to the Mifos User's list.

*Issue Trackers*
The biggest change to note here is that we're no longer using MifosForge (
https://mifosforge.jira.com/projects/MIFOSX/issues) for reporting new
active issues. MifosForge is now just an archive and all existing open
issues have been moved (except for a few recent ones) to the new issue
trackers we're using.

If you have an issue or feature request related to the Apache Fineract
platform, report it at https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FINERACT

We're using GitHub issues for issues/feature requests related to any of the
web apps, mobile apps, or modules that are part of the Mifos X
distribution. Report it to the respective issues page for that repository.
The only area that might be confusing is issues related to reporting. Any
reporting related issues should go to the GitHub issue tracker for the
Mifos X web app (community app) at
https://github.com/openMF/community-app/issues

Message me if you have any questions.
