I was just looking at the ASDocs on the Apache Flex website, and I noticed that
only Flex specific classes are included. This is contrary to the Adobe ASDocs
which have all Flash classes. I understand the reason for this, but it really
limits the usability of the docs.
I picked a random page as

Hi Nick,
I just want to confirm that trademarks has reviewed and approved. Also, why
the "dimmed" feather? Did trademarks approve that?
I haven't reviewed every page, but the parts I've seen look really great.

Hi,
I agree it's great improvement on the current site, but IMO until we get a few
more committers info up on the committer page I'd suggest holding it off making
it live.

Current we only have 7 people out of 46 with info.
At the very least I think
Let me play with those a bit tomorrow morning. Should be doable.

Looks a little awkward in portrait mode (ie narrow width screen) when the Flex
image is aligned left and the apache feather is aligned right under it. Could
the images be placed on the same line (aligned left and rig

Hi,
Also checked on the OS browser and also Chrome on Android and looks good.
A couple of very minor issues:
Apache logo and flex logo in landscape vs portrait mode looks a little odd.
Missing facebook and twitter links in header. (On purpose I assume?)

Hi,
Nice work.

A few questions:
Why is download link in the menu bar orange?
Would it be good to indicate that menu links are either site links or off site
links?
We're using US english should we be more international?
How is latest tweets on the home page updated?

I think the slider may make the logo "pop" a bit more because of the bold
colors. The logo by itself in the upper-right may look washed out in the
mind because it is sitting on white. I just took a screen shot using both
Chrome and FF and did an eye-dropper compare, and they are the same on all

Firefox up to date.
Its just that the colors from the top left logo are not as bright as
the logo in the larger slideshow images.
Maybe it's just that the larger images "just have more color". :) The
orange looks like a burnt orange.

Mike,
Which browser are you using? I'm not seeing that our logo is washed out..
I did purposefully wash out the Apache logo on the right side.
I'll check into the Apache logo on the ASDocs. I didn't produce that (this
is straight from the asdocs download from the 4.9.0 release).

Is it me or does the main header logo look really washed out?
Comparing it to the home page large graphic, there seems to be some
compression that happened to that image.
The asdoc header logo needs transparency as well.

I don't know if it can be done by moderator but the subscribe/unsubscribe
script looks like it doesn't work very well, apparently more folks have this
problem, even for me, when I subscribed to the commit mailling list, I had
to try several times during 2 days before it works and be registered.
How?
The only thing I know how to do w/ my moderator privileges is to
approve (or reject) emails from going out to the list.
