I would like to explore adding JavaScript bindings to empower users to write code in JavaScript and leverage Apache Flink.
I'm somewhat familiar with the Python API and have started exploring adding support for JavaScript using the Python code as a template. I would like to continue explore adding support for JavaScript possibly leveraging some of the Nashorn work being done by Oracle. I mistakenly posted to an old Github thread ... https://github.com/stratosphere/stratosphere/issues/377 ... and rmetzger pointed me to this list. I'm new to the ASF. After reading the Flink contribution guidelines and talking to rmetzger via Github I figured I'd continue the discussion through this outlet.
