I agree to remove the slides section.
A lot of the content is out-dated and hence not only useless but might
sometimes even cause confusion.

Well that's a single StateBackend. In order to say that "Checkpoints
support rescaling" this must apply to all StateBackends, which AFAIK is
not the case.

The shuffle service is responsible for transporting upstream produced data to
the downstream side. In flink, the NettyServer is used for network transport
service and this component is started in the TaskManager process. That means
the TaskManager can support internal shuffle service
