Note that the 2.3.24 release voting has started on gene...@incubator.apache.org. As far as I know, PPMC votes on the podling list automatically count as binding votes on the gene...@incubator.apache.org voting, but I suppose the usual procedure is still that the PPMC members vote there again. So

Vote on the podling mailing list for releasing Apache FreeMarker 2.3.24 (incubating) passed with the following results: 4 binding "+1", 2 non-binding "+1" votes, no "0" votes, no "-1" votes. Thus, this version is recommended for release by the PPMC, and the formal release vote will be soon follow
