The plugin installer has an odd interpretation of where to copy files
into the server that I think would be good to fix before 2.0 gets
out. I've already fixed it in branches 2.0 and trunk. See

This changes the behavior of the plugin installer so it might be a
good idea
Ugh... I think we need to revisit all this junk... I was hoping that
the maven-remote-resources-plugin would be useful here, though I'm
not sure it adds legal bits to src jars either.
I'm really not sure what to do about this... :-(

I did some work incorporating release notes, cleaning up JIRAs and
other stuff tonight and I believe 2.0 is ready for its RC1.
Kevan started some TCK runs but we can spin the vote in parallel.

The test report was very informative :-) I think you are the first
person to run this test on a system with kerberos running in the last
2 years or so. For everyone else the test gets an exception when the
login is tried and we figure that means kerberos is missing so
