I recently did an svn update and build of trunk (yesterday) and I'm now
getting an error attempting to start a trunk server. My svn version is
939402
Could not start bundle:
org.apache.geronimo.modules.geronimo-activemq-blueprint [238]
org.osgi.framework.BundleException: Unresolved
If I'm understanding this correctly it seems that activemq wants
annotation version 1.0.0 (or greater) but not 1.1.0. Our
geronimo-annotation spec is for spec version 1.0 but the bundle version
1.1.0. So I think we may have some version confusion.

I can avoid this error if I build Geronimo with the ActiveMQ 5.3.2 image
that is currently being voted on.
So, as Ivan mentioned, it appears that the latest SNAPSHOT available is
not up to date and we move past this error once we move to the released
ActiveMQ version.

I think some of the SNAPSHOT references in the artifact-aliases are not
necessary but that isn't a big deal.
The jpa-tests still bother me but I guess they are not really part of
vote since we're not building or releasing them even though the they are
included in the tag referenced as part

Looks like the site is synchronized successfully now.
And I spot-checked several pages on Geronimo website randomly and noticed
that {indent} macro is not working any more in Confluence 3.2. So I fixed
the pages with the problem by removing the macro.

Since those are Tomcat source files, does that really mean we have to
fix their source before we can re-release it?

IIUC then I think we do need to fix this for the following reasons:
1) We are releasing these artifacts - even if they are copies of Tomcat
artifacts. The artifact is being released under the groupID
org.apache.geronimo.ext.tomcat and it is being released in source (not
just binary) form.

Mark Thomas changed the license in rev 934219 on april 14 2010. That change
and rev 934220 seem to indicate that the tomcat community thinks including EPL
source in apache svn and releases is fine. The tomcat copies are modified from
the bcel originals including:
- changing the package name

Thanks for checking it, usually, I hate those license related issues ;-)
Just find that Kevan has post a message in Tomcat community, so depending on
the result there, we could decide whether we would continue or cancel this
vote.

[INFO] BUILD
After investigating the files in question there is no doubt in my mind that we
have to cancel the vote. If someone from BCEL can demonstrate that they should
be in apache svn, with an apache license, then we could proceed.
We could also look into replacing the tomcat code with xbean-finder.
