An alternate workaround would be to use a forward slash instead of a back slash 
in the path 
(C:/working/server/branches/samples/applications/jaxws-calculator/target/jaxws-calculator-axis2-2.1.0.0.war).
  The issue comes from the parser in gshell not being able to handle a back 
slash and not from the commands themselves.  This issue is a duplicate of 
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GSHELL-117 .  According to this issue, a 
double backslash (C:\\working\\...) can be used as well.
