Hi All,
I just updated the XML schemas documentation for 2.1 on the web site (couldn't
use the wiki). Here is the link
http://geronimo.apache.org/apache-geronimo-v21-xml-schemas.html
I also matched the actual schemas file name with their target namespaces to
make the IDEs happier ;-)
you're using to generate them ??

Just to triple check, can we confirm these are all the schemas for 2.1?
attributes-1.2.xsd
corba-css-config-2.1.xsd
corba-tss-config-2.1.xsd
geronimo-application-2.0.xsd
geronimo-application-client-2.0.xsd
geronimo-connector-1.2.xsd
geronimo-jetty-2.0.2.xsd
geronimo-jetty-config-1.0.1.xsd
geronim
Here's a list of I can come up with:
Geronimo Plugin Descriptor:
http://geronimo.apache.org/xml/ns/plugins-1.3
Tomcat-Only Web Application (WAR):
http://geronimo.apache.org/xml/ns/j2ee/web/tomcat-2.0.1
Jetty-Only Web Application (WAR):
http://geronimo.apache.org/xml/ns/j2ee/web/jetty-2.0.2

Howdy,
are we changing (releasing a new set of) the schemas for 2.1? Can somebody pls
check how valid this list still is
http://geronimo.apache.org/apache-geronimo-v20-xml-schemas.html
I have the schema docs somewhat ready but want to make sure I have the correct
links ;-)
I plan to host that

The 1.2 version is where comment support was added
to the config.xml file.

Well, let me give a specific example. Let's say you have a web app's web.xml:
http://java.sun.com/
The idea is to ease development from IDE's that will pick up the schemas right
away. Not sure the redirect would work for these scenarios.
I tried the aliases, just a couple of symbolic links, but then realized about
the different directories for the schemas so I was hoping there would be

I'm not that big a fan of trying to make the schema namespace be an
actual working URL. Should the schema's namespace end in ".xsd"?
That seems weird. Plus we have no control over the location for many
of the schemas we use (other projects we use, the Sun schemas, etc.)
And it might result in us

Hi All,
trying to deal with the schemas update on the web site and I'm looking to some
things I would like to get your input.
First of all the actual schemas file name don't match the target name space
defined in the schema itself.
Here is the associated JIRA ( https://issues.apache.org/jira/b

The 2.0 page isn't quite right -- the preferred J2EE schemas on the
top right should name and point to the Java EE 5 ones, I should think.
